year.
Billboard shares that the Yeezus tour took in $25,213,875. The top
grossing date was New York City's Madison Square Garden with more than
$3 million in sales while Kanye's most attended show came from Toronto
with 31,386 fans for two performances.
In addition to new music from the 'Yeezus' album, the tour featured
elaborate sets (including an actor playing Jesus), special effects and
costume changes. Fans came out to also hear a string of rants from the
superstar.
The only tour that out-performed the MC's was Paul McCartney's, who
topped the hot tours list with $40.6 million grossed. Other tours on
the list include Alicia Keys and Justin Bieber.
