Eminem Is The First Artist Ever To Earn Two Digital Diamond Awards

Eminem achieves digital diamond certification for two different singles, making him the first artist in history to do so.

Eminem is no stranger to receiving accolades, and today he has yet another to add to his growing list of achievements. While his latest album, Marshall Mathers LP 2, is already 2x platinum, his older music continues to rack up sales as well, going way beyond the average.

Today RIAA announced that Em is the first artist ever to achieve two Digital Diamond Awards for two different singles. This means both records surpassed the 10 million mark in terms of sales and streams online. The first, "I Love The Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna, is 11x platinum, while the second, "Not Afraid," is 10x platinum.

RIAA's Chairman & CEO issued the following statement, "We are delighted to recognize Eminem as the first artist to earn two RIAA Digital Diamond Awards. This singular achievement – earning a Diamond Award on two separate digital songs – is unparalleled, and we congratulate him on forever etching a mark in Gold & Platinum Program history."

MMLP2 may be on its way to 10x platinum, but two other Em albums already reached such an achievement: The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show.

Congrats to the Detroit native!
