BREAKING: Explosion Rocks Gombe Government House

There are reports of a massive explosion at the Gombe State Government House late this afternoon.

According to SaharaReporters, a loud bang was heard around the Government House but the exact nature of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.

There is also no word on injuries, death or level of damage that has been done by the explosion.

So far no group has claimed responsibility for the blast. The Boko Haram Islamic group has, however, attacked several targets in the North eastern part of the country forcing the Federal Government to declare a State of Emergency in three state, Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.

Police, Fire Department and military officials are reportedly on the scene of the explosion battling the fire which resulted from the blast.

There has been no official statement on this blast. We shall bring you more details as we get them.
